2025 & 2026 Final Tryouts

The final tryout will be held in Lusaka from December 13–16, followed by Harare from December 17–20. We will also be in South Africa for the biggest college combine ever, with coaches from more than 10 colleges in attendance. In South Africa, we will be in Johannesburg from January 5–9. Please note that registration in South Africa has unlimited slots, with the deadline set for November 1. However, in Zimbabwe and Zambia, we are only adding 20 more slots, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for Zimbabwe and Zambia is September 30, since preliminary tryouts were already conducted in April.

This year, we are excited to share that there is no limit to the number of players we can select! Unlike last year, when only a set number of athletes advanced, this year’s selection is wide open.

Why? Because of the high demand from college coaches eager to recruit Vision2Africa players. If you have the talent and the academic qualifications, you will have the opportunity to be selected. This truly is an open platform for all.

💡 And remember—if you are not selected during the tryouts, it is not the end of the road. You can still sign with our agency, and we will continue working to place you through the more than 40 schools in our growing network.

Please note that we are only accepting the first 20 applicants from each country, and slots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, as we already selected the core players during our preliminary tryouts this past April. Registration in South Africa is open to all players between the ages of 14–22 who aspire to play in America.
