At Vision 2 Africa, academic qualifications are crucial for our scholarship process. These standards are necessary for university enrolment and clearance by bodies like the NCAA or NAIA. In U.S. college sports, balancing academics with athletics is key, with students spending 60% of their time on studies. Academic excellence is fundamental to being part of Vision 2 Africa. Below are the detailed requirements in order.
Candidates must pass a minimum of six subjects at the IGCSE Secondary Level or an equivalent exam, typically taken in Grade 9 or Form 4. While the specific exam may vary, exams like the ZIMSEC Ordinary Level are accepted if it meets the equivalency criteria. This is the first academic requirement we need before we can start your scholarship acquisition process.
Candidates must pass a minimum of two subjects at the IGCSE AS Level or Advanced Level, typically taken in Grade 12 or equivalent to Matric exams in South Africa. This is essential for college eligibility in America. In Zimbabwe this is equivalent to the A-Level ZIMSEC exam for Upper 6 students. Without meeting these qualifications, the scholarship acquisition process cannot begin and we are only able to help a player once they meet these requirements.
At Vision 2 Africa, we're breaking barriers and opening doors to new opportunities. If you've already graduated university and you are under 27, you're still eligible for a master's degree scholarship. While some schools may not offer your desired program, if you're a standout player, we'll go above and beyond to find the perfect fit for you. Your academic and athletic dreams are within reach with Vision 2 Africa.
Importance of a Quality Video Highlight
A good video highlight is indispensable for securing a soccer scholarship in the United States. Once academic requirements are met, it becomes the second most crucial component of your application. Serving as a practical resume, it showcases your skills and attributes effectively. Coaches worldwide sift through countless emails daily, often deciding within the first minute whether a player is worth pursuing. Hence, a professionally crafted, detailed, and high-quality video is essential.
Vision 2 Africa Standards
At Vision 2 Africa, our mission is to ensure standout presentation of players to coaches. We reject substandard videos lacking professionalism or essential details. The quality of your highlight video often determines whether you secure a scholarship. If your current video falls short, we recommend starting with our scholarship acquisition process. We offer expert video editing services for an additional fee, transforming potential videos into polished highlights. This enhancement significantly boosts your chances of scholarship success, provided you possess football talent.
Anyone who meets the academic requirements and is a talented football player can get a soccer scholarship. You can either get the soccer scholarship through Process 1 or Process 2. Vision2Africa is here to guide you through that journey and make it as smooth as possible for you.
